Mutton Curry Samp

This Mutton Curry Samp is a hearty dish that combines tender mutton pieces with flavourful samp and beans. Ingredients

2 Cans Samp & Beans
1 kg Mutton Pieces
1 Medium Onion Chopped
1/2 Green Pepper Chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 Chopped Tomatoes
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
2 tsp garlic & ginger paste
3 Tbs masala
1 Tbs Kashmiri Masala
1 Cinnamon Stick
Bay leaf
Salt
6 Tbs oil

Directions

Step 1:
Add oil to a pot, fry onions with the peppers and cumin seeds, cinnamon stick and bay leaf until onions are soft.
Step 2:
Add chopped tomatoes, coriander powder, cumin powder and cook for 5 mins.
Step 3:
Add Masala, Kashmiri masala, garlic and ginger as well as the meat. Stir and let it braise for 5 mins.
Step 4:
Add half a cup of water and salt, and cook for 40 mins until the meat is cooked.
Step 5:
Add the tins of samp & beans, stir and cook through for 15 mins. Add Worcestershire sauce or serve on its own.
