From Humble Beginnings...
Giants Canning is located in the heart of the Johannesburg Fresh Produce Market in City Deep, which is the convergence zone for all the Freshest Fruit and Vegetables in the country. And that is how the story began, with the vision of CEO Mr Chandu Govind, who had been working in the market for over 30 years, wanting to CAN the freshest produce “From the FARMER to the CAN to the TABLE.”

Giants Canning commits to the implementation of the BRC global standard for food, the processes which facilitates continual improvement of food safety, the quality management and relevant regulatory and legal requirements. The establishment, documentation, improvement and maintenance of a clear plan for the development and continuous improvement of a food safety and quality culture.
We pack 95% of all Private Label Brands within South Africa
Giants Canning has become the biggest co-packer of corporate brands within the Country. We Currently pack 95% of all Private Label Brands within South Africa and have recently ventured into International Waters.
